Project Manager – Development Consulting (Windhoek)

Our client is looking to place a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee construction projects within a Development Consulting environment. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to manage projects efficiently—from planning to completion—while ensuring quality, cost control, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and initiate projects.
• Manage contracts and documentation.
• Assemble and oversee contractors and professional teams.
• Coordinate design and procurement processes.
• Execute construction programs effectively.
• Maintain ongoing communication with teams and clients.
• Identify and manage risks proactively.
• Lead regular site and project meetings.
• Monitor financials, progress, and reporting.
• Ensure comprehensive client reporting.
• Oversee project close-out and final handover.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Quantity Surveying, or Construction Management
• 3+ years of proven experience in Construction, Consulting, or Project Management
• Strong work ethic, self-starter, and motivated to go the extra mile.
• Independent thinker with leadership abilities and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Tech-savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office (AutoCAD, WinQS experience is a bonus)
• Valid Code-B driver’s license
• Afrikaans and English speaking
