Are you a skilled technician with a passion for renewable energy and solar technology? We’re looking for a Lab Technician to join our dynamic technical team in Dar es Salaam and play a critical role in supporting hardware testing, firmware updates, and battery maintenance for cutting-edge solar products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test and fault-find returned solar equipment

• Conduct firmware updates and simulated product tests

• Maintain and charge battery stock; track charge cycles

• Prepare detailed reports on product faults and root cause analysis

• Collaborate with technical team members and support ongoing QA processes

• Organize, label, and shelve returned hardware stock

• Maintain lab equipment and ensure a safe and clean working environment

Qualification and Experience:

• 3-year qualification (National Diploma, BTech, or BEng) in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

• Minimum 3 years’ experience in PV installation or technical support

• Strong knowledge of solar technology and lithium-ion battery storage

• Hands-on experience in testing and repairing solar products

• Proficient in English and Swahili; computer literate

• Familiar with key products like KODAK, Pylontech, and Victron
