A leading player in the renewable energy sector is seeking a highly skilled Performance Analyst – Data & Systems to design, automate, and scale digital tools and analytics that support performance monitoring, forecasting, and optimisation across a growing portfolio of wind, solar, and battery storage projects.

This role plays a pivotal part in bridging IT/OT systems, data engineering, and advanced analytics—delivering actionable insights that drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain data pipelines from SCADA systems, CMMS, and external data sources into Microsoft Fabric, SQL databases, and Power BI dashboards

• Develop and automate analytics tools for hybrid plant dispatch modelling, wheeling cost allocation, and performance forecasting

• Create visualisations and metrics to track advanced KPIs, O&M performance, and energy losses

• Integrate weather, production, and availability data for enhanced energy yield analysis

• Apply machine learning models for predictive analytics, fault detection, and degradation tracking

• Build scalable ETL processes and enforce data standardisation and governance

• Collaborate with IT, cybersecurity, and control room teams to align with digital infrastructure and data security standards

• Contribute to strategic goals such as onboarding hybrid assets, integrating new OEM systems, and consolidating monitoring platforms

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Renewable Energy Systems, or related field

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in data integration and analytics, preferably in renewables or utilities

• Proficient in Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, SQL, DAX, Power Query, and Python and/or R

• Experience with SCADA integration and time-series databases such as PI System or InfluxDB

• Familiarity with platforms such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Snowflake, AWS, or Databricks is advantageous

• Exposure to CMMS (SAP), ERP (Coupa), and EMS tools is preferred
