Our client, a well-established accounting and advisory practice, is looking for a detail-oriented Tax Compliance Officer to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tax professional with a strong background in tax compliance within an accounting or audit practice.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and submit tax returns for companies, trusts, and individuals.

• Manage VAT, PAYE, and other statutory tax submissions.

• Ensure compliance with SARS regulations and submission deadlines.

• Liaise with SARS regarding tax queries and compliance matters.

• Assist clients with general tax-related matters and ensure accurate record keeping.

Minimum Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred but not essential).

• Minimum of 3 years' practical tax experience within an accounting or audit practice.

• Solid working knowledge of South African tax legislation and SARS processes.

• Experience submitting all major tax types, including Income Tax, VAT, and PAYE.

• Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
