Senior SAS BI / Data Analyst Employment Equity Sandton R650 – R730K CTC pa Innovative division within a leading financial services concern is looking for an experienced Data Analyst to join their team. Within their Business Decision Support, be responsible for utilising their data warehouse to provide insights to the business. Be involved in the end-to-end process including the sourcing and analysis of data modelling of data marts for reporting purposes, ETL processes to create data marts, to including data quality checks, error handling, variance exception reporting, report-creation, testing and ensuring reports sign off from the customer. B.Sc. Computer Science, B.Com Informatics or relevant degree essential. Data Modelling Certificate, Base SAS Programming Certificate, Advanced Programming Certificate preferable. 6 years’ experience Enterprise-Guide, SAS Macros, SAS DI Studio, Data Warehousing ETL experience, SQL programming with 2 years’ experience in QlikView / Qlik sense and or Power BI ; 3 years’ experience in Data Analysis. Business Intelligence, Data reporting (3 years’ experience) and knowledge of best practices in BI and ETL using the SAS 9 technology is essential. Abinitio and Data Modelling skills preferable.
