Investment Analyst

R550k plus bonus

Launch your career with high performing Fund Manager, you will be responsible for research and analysis of publicly traded  securities in South Africa. The candidate will assist with fund management functions and must have the potential to grow into a portfolio management role within the medium to long term.

• Prepare individual company forecasts and valuations
• Review company announcements
• Company management visits
• Attribution and performance analysis
• Quantitative analyses
• Execute broker instructions
• Writing client and company reports
• Monthly / quarterly sector review report
• Investment committee reports

Qualifications and experience

• CA (SA) and/or equivalent
• CFA and/or equivalent
• Looking for a candidate with 0 - 3 years’ experience post articles/other work experience (if non-CA (SA)). Experience in the real estate or investment industry will be beneficial, however the biggest differentiator will be the candidate’s attributes. Looking for a self-motivated, hardworking individual, with strong numerical and problem-solving skills, who is passionate about investments.
